Oh my, I’ll never know why
These silly fish fall for my bait every single time.
And even though they know to stay away from me,
They seem to love my treats, and how they’re nearly free.
Tough way to pay for a breath of fresh air,
But they don’t seem to mind, and they don’t even care.
They seem to love this high and I can tell you why,
They spend their lives swimming and can finally say
I was caught and have been released.
With this rod, I’m a god to them.
I give them a high I could never comprehend.
I wish I was a fish, and someone would catch me,
And for a moment fear that I would never be released.
